1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Nature of the service
ResearchGap AI is an academic assistance tool. It generates research topic suggestions, gap analyses, methodologies and reference cues. The output is AI-generated and must be independently verified by you and your academic supervisor before it is used in any submitted work.
3. Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. One account per person.
4. Credits and plans
Access is controlled by a credit system. New accounts receive 1 free trial topic search. Paid plans grant additional credits as described on the Pricing page. Upgrading from one paid plan to another resets the credit allowance to the new plan's amount; any unused credits from the previous plan are forfeited.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or that violates the academic integrity policies of your institution. You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or resell the output.
6. Intellectual property
You retain rights to the research direction you choose to pursue. The software, prompts, and underlying engine remain the property of ResearchGap AI.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is". AI suggestions may contain errors, omissions, or hallucinated references. ResearchGap AI is not liable for academic, professional, or financial consequences arising from reliance on the output without independent verification.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by writing to researchgapai@gmail.com.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the founder's principal place of business.
